sub categories
how do i get rid of the subcatagories that are on the page when u click the link nd dont hover (if that makes sense) basicly how do i delete http://www.crazyleds.co.uk/crazyleds/home.php?cat=29 the sub cat here <--- nd just have sub cats in the menu

Re: sub categories
I would advise against that. You want to give the customer as many ways to get to your products as possible, and forcing them to use a flyout menu is a really bad idea.

Hi,
Can anybody says from where we can change category/sub-category text font color? Thanks to all again. |
Re: sub categories
Add a class to the link if you want it different than the default link color.

Re: sub categories
Hi balinor,
Can you kindly tell me in which .css file and which exact area/line to modify category text font color? |
Re: sub categories
how come when i click a link i get the blue text saying crazyleds : 3mm
then in a light text it says 3mm again kinda repeating its self how do i remove the second text thats in silver/grey http://www.crazyleds.co.uk/crazyleds/home.php?cat=2 |
Re: sub categories
That's the breadcrumb, you don't want to remove that either :) I'd modify it to have a 'home' link in it though so it reads home >3mm. It is in location.tpl. A few posts here in the forums of how to modify that I believe.

Re: sub categories
This is just a guess but do you have "3mm LEDs" as the "description" for the 3mm LEDs category? The category description is an area where you can add text explaining why "you have the best 3mm LEDs on the planet, and only a fool would not buy them from you" :)

It depends on what text you are referring to. Look in skin1/customer/categories.tpl and/or skin1/customer/main/subcategories.tpl and find the text you want to change the color of. Then look at the "class" of that text and find the class in skin1.css. |
Re: sub categories
add it to skin1/skin1.css
