Re: Change text
Do you mean languges in the admin side if so i don't have languges here.
|
Re: Change text
Yes, you do - unless you deleted it by mistake. It is in the Administration menu, under Images Location.
|
Re: Change text
No i don't have "languges" below "image location" it is "webmaster mode", i have asked the question before about where the languges section is in the admin but got no answer.I have never had languges in the admin could it be that the company that set the site up for me have deleted it or is it because i only use one language in my store?

Re: Change text
Is there anyway of checking to see if i have had languges and how is the site operating the error messages without languges?
|
Re: Change text
Hello balinor i have look in the admin root skin1/admin/main/languge.tpl would this tell me that i have had languages previously, if so how do i re-apply languges.

Re: Change text
If your developer removed it, they shouldn't have as that is a huge part of being able to edit your store. The link would be:
https://www.yoursite.com/admin/languages.php?language=US if you are using english |
Re: Change text
Thanks for that balinor i think that they must of as we parted company on not good terms, the link given returns a Error 404-not found.

Re: Change text
Try:
http://www.yoursite.com/admin/languages.php Be sure to replace yoursite.com with your actual url :) |
Re: Change text
That worked it is the edit language page, what do i need to do here.
Swift master |
Re: Change text
Select the language you want to edit, then go down to the main area and select 'Errors' from the drop-down. That will display all of the error messages. You can also search for a specific one using the 'filter' box. The manual actually covers this area well.
|
Re: Change text
I only have one language in the edit language box at the top of the page, if i select the one language which is english all i get is a list of many other languages and no mention of errors.
Swift master |
Re: Change text
Balinor the page that i got with the link has three boxes the first one is Edit Language 2nd Default Languages and 3rd Add/update Languages, is this the page that you thoughtn i should be on.

Re: Change text
Please have a look at the manual - easier than me having to re-type it :)
|
Re: Change text
Have done as you said but the error message that i require to change is not in the drop down list, the error message only appears as a warning popup box via internet explorer could it be filed away some where else.
Swift master |
Re: Change text
You are kidding....you failed to mention it was a pop-up in Internet Explorer! What is the error? The secure/insecure warning?
|
Re: Change text
Not kidding i asked the question in my first thread, i have now found the message that required text change THANKS for all the help balinor and my appoliges if i have miss led you.
