How long would it take to convert a full active store over?

Or is this basically a redesign from ground up starting over kind of thing?

Hi Doug, it's aimed at people starting from a fresh v4.1.11 install, but it doesn't rule out anyone looking to migrate.

It depends on how modified your store is. With the mods you have listed in your signature, I imagine it wouldn't take too long. The template itself is based on the 'light and lucid' theme as a starting point.

Unlike other templates, only the necessary files are replaced, not the entire /skin1 directory.

I'd recommend you upgrade your store as much as possible to v4.1.11, then apply the CSS template files. Then if necessary, re-apply whatever custom mods you have made.

The chances are, this will also work fine with earlier versions.

The template will work with v4.1.11 Gold or Pro.

You should either use the most stable version now (v4.1.11)

Or wait for the next stable version, which is due out end of April (v4.1.12)

Or use the current version (v4.2.0) which is full of bugs.

Or wait for the next current version (v4.2.1) which due out end of spring.

Or wait for the next version (v4.3) which is due out sometime this spring.

I already installed v4.2 and also purchased add-ons, can I downgrade to V4.1.11 without problems and will the add-ons I purchased work with v4.1.11? Just wondering if you know? Purchased xspecial offer add-on

Hi,

I have this mod, (looks great) I can't seem to find the .tpl associated with the footer. I can find where to edit it in the html but not in the css's or which tpl. I need to add some logos down there. I'm using firebug and web developer etc. I'm able to change the colors and stuff real easy but I must be missing some fundamental tidbit of info about how css works with xcart tpl's. How to add say images and stuff.
Also I'd like 5 products per row.

Someone wanna school me?

I know, I've looked in products.tpl and products_t.tpl, I dont see anything in there. Everything points to #Footer in the css but theres almost nothing for footer when you look at the source and there isnt any images associated with #footer. Can't figure out where they are coming from. I can edit html and correct it in home.php but I'd rather find where they are in the css. When I show all the div info theres nothing by these two logos.

CSS is supposed to be easier right? Did I just isolate myself from all the normal template help I was getting from the forums because I'm all css now?

Yea, afraid only the people who use that template will be able to help :( Try Firebug as well, essential when using CSS.

ahh yes, finally found that out. Thanks!

My next big thing is 5 products per row, I had it set up before I got this slick mod, now I need to figure out how to get it back. It involved writing over the entire products.tpl from this thread.
