Take a look at General Settings/Appearance Options. There is a 'view products in multiple columns' setting. Set it to 3, uncheck the 'display only featured products in multiple columns'. See if that layout is better :)

Have you done any editing to products_t.tpl? If so, restore the original as it looks like there are some Smarty errors in there.

Well there you go. By default, this works nicely as you can see on the demo version. Either uninstall the mods, or see where the error is.

Ok balinor restored the original file and now it is working. How can I make the image a popup for a closer look instead of going to the details page? Seems like the image should popup into a bigger image for closer viewing. If the customer wants to see details and purchase they would need to click on the (see details) text. Also adding to the cart seems to be very slow, what may be causing this? I am using cable internet and it seems to take a while to add products to cart.

Adding a detailed pop-up on that page would be a bit of custom work.

I do not understand this cart. I am starting not to like it because I am finding that the most basic things that are needed in a nice shopping cart are not included in this cart. I am finding that I have to spend more money every time I want to make a simple change. I am buying mods after mods and it is a bit sad and expensive. If only I would have known what I was buying. You would think something as simple as a product image popup would be included because after all most of us are selling products and need to show them off to the customer. Plus the cart is slow.

Shareen, this is one of the most powerful carts out there, but it takes a little work to get it to function the way you want. The images on the category page do not have pop-ups because they are meant as previews of the product only, the product detail page has all of the info. If a user wants to see more info, they simply click on the image. The beauty of this cart is it is fully customizable to how you want it to function. If it doesn't work the way you want, you change it.

Thank you for your reply. I may have to check out another cart because this cart is to slow processing orders. It is taking me 17 to 18 seconds to add an item to the cart. Why is this and is there anyghing I can do to speed it up. I turn off the stats like I read in the forum, I only have 10 products at the moment so it cannot be the database.

That probably isn't the cart, but the server. Are you on shared hosting by chance? The 4.1.6 release is actually pretty fast, but if you are on shared hosting it can really drag.

It will work on properly configured shared hosts like the ones from the link I posted. Contact Emerson at ewdhosting.com, he'll even move your site for you :)

Image files that aren't properly optimized could be another culprit causing slow speeds. Because your site isn't live, I couldn't check that.
