empty static page body in admin only
 

I just updated my website to version 4.4.5. I am going through the admin section just to make sure that everything is ok. I came across 1 problem. For some reason the body of the "static pages" in the admin is empty. All my the other tabs in admin open ok, only the "static pages" link has an issue.

I can see everything down to the bread crumbs "main page - static pages" and that is it? Any ideas why? The static pages show up fine on the customer side. Thanks.

Did you copy across the actual html files from skin1/pages/US ?

Yes, I put them in the pages/en/ directory. I have CDSEOpro installed as well, if that matters. The pages all show up ok on the customer side when I click the links to them but I can't add/edit (or see anything) on the admin side.

They are probably not added in static pages table in db. If you click on "find pages" button XC will add them but will assign new pageid's ... or you can edit the table directly

I can see xcart_pages in both my DEV db and the Live db. Both db's have the static pages in them. I pasted a copy of what the static page on the admin side looks like. The header and tabs are a little messed up too. Could it have been something during one of the patches? Should I delete the table from the live site and import the table from the Dev site? Or does it look like a different issue?

You have nothing on that page, this looks like permission issue - XC can't even read and execute pages.php? Check your log directory for errors.

Once again Steve to the rescue. I had missed setting common_files to 777, had it at 775 by mistake. All is well now. Thanks a lot.

Just noticed that the buttons and tabs are still not showing up correctly, I'll check the logs on that.

Ok, the logs don't show anything. I have attached a new screen shot of what is going on now. It is like the buttons and tabs can't be inserted correctly for some reason.
