need larger images

I have images that are 400x400, but I have to set the maximum product image width and height to 150x150 or the image overruns the details.
Is there a way to fix this?

are you wanting to alter the image itself or adjust what size it is viewed in the browser?
If you want to alter the image size, you'll need a photo editing program, like photoshop or picasa.

I don't want to alter the physical size of the images. I want to allow customers to view the images in their original size 400x400. But if I make my max height and width in the x-cart admin 400 x 400, the images overrun the product details.

I'm looking into x-magnifier, but at this point i'd like a free mod that will work for 4.2 if I can find one.

If you don't want a mod, you should probably try to change the dimensions of how your layout is displayed. I confined my layout to 900 pix wide, but you could have your layout at 100% or 90% instead of a fixed pixel width. I'm not familiar with 4.2 but I'm sure someone here can help you with that.
It's a pain, but you have to work within the confines of x-cart.

Hmm..i'm not sure what template to change or where to change it. I'll have to check the guide unless someone replies to this first. ;)

Sorry 'bout that. It just seemed like it should have been in the template editing section.
