updating contact us page
 

I am having a problem. I want to update our contact us page. http://www.thebabblingbaby.com/help.php?section=contactus&mode=update

whenever i make any changes to contactus.tpl the changes are not being transfeered to the actual contact us page on the site. Do I need to make changes somewhere else?

Try flushing your template cache using the tools in the 'Summary/Tools' section of your admin.

after clearing the cache the html text that we had above the form is gone on the page, but is still in the contactus.tpl

anyone provide any help? now I have lost all the information I had on the page before the form.

Clearing the cache only clears cached templates, it doesn't affect your actual templates. When you preview the contact page (in the edit templates area) is it showing the changes? And have you cleared your browser cache as well?

yeah the text is still in the contactus.tpl but for some reason it is not on the contact us page. I have cleared my browser cache as well.

It looks like you have a trailing --> showing above the form....you shouldn't be using html comments to hide code, you use Smarty:

{*Hidden code *}

I'd double check your code to make sure don't have some broken code in there. You have a lot of errors on your site, so I can't really tell what is causing it by looking at them.

can you take a look at the contactus.tpl if i send it to you? I'm not the greatest with php and smarty. I just wanted to add some text to this template and be able to edit it when I want
