I run vBulletin now (used to be phpBB). I think running phpBB with a cart is insane mainly from the security leaks known with phpBB. vB isn't perfect, but far better then phpBB (in my opinion).

What I find funny is X-Cart used to have pbpBB on their site but switched/upgraded to vBulletin. What does this tell you?!?!??!

Also wonder if they are looking into the integration with vB for themselves!!!
