Hi guys, I've not bailed out or ditched or whatever else may be thought. I've had drastic personal issues the past 3 weeks that have kept me completely occupied and completely unable to tend to my business.
The timing of this has been quite horrible, as it's also just recently come to my attention that my fully developed product has 2 bugs as of the latest version that affect primarily larger websites.
I've only recently (the past couple of days) been able to return back to normal business matters, I'm currently working through hundreds of emails, working on fixing the issues existing with XCSEO Pro, and I'll be updating all customers with a fixed copy as soon as possible. As a note, my post here does not reflect any intention to ditch XCSEO Pro for X-Cart, it only reflects my awareness that I should keep in mind the future of my product, and try to diversify the markets that I support. I actually have not touched any code for Kohana yet, as this post was a foray to see what possibility XCSEO Pro would have with a Kohana-developed product.
Ugly, if you can hold a bit longer, I'll try to have a fixed copy to you as soon as possible.
To the others that have posted on-topic, thanks for your suggestions & references, I'll check out Kohana 2.3 when I have time available. I appreciate your input.

it doesn't make sense to talk about XCSEO Pro for X-Cart, problems with it and fixes and not post this in the X-Cart forum.

I agree, if he really cared about his existing x-cart customers he would take the 2 or 3 minutes it would take to log into this forum and post a message to his current customers. I have given up and gone to his competitor as I have had emails into him that have gone unanswered for 7 weeks now. I know how it is to have a 1 person business as I run one myself and have for several years now. I also know that even in the worst family/personal emergency I can get a message posted to my customers within a few days letting them know what is going on and an expected time frame of my return.

Just my 2 cents but if he doesn't care about his customers enough to even let us know by posting a message here or even on his own site then how can we trust him in the future.

and the only thing the title shows is the company name. I'm stuck as to how to modify the title tag now that we use XC SEO.

We use XCSEO Pro on both our sites with great results the only thing missing is Jon L.

The last time i spoke to Jon L he was going on holidays for 2 weeks i am not making excuses for him just like every one else we are wondering were he is and hope all is ok.

Well, i think that when a product that affects all your site have no support.. it's not working as it should be....

for those all ready paid victims like me whom got no respond for his not working mod, pls file dispute with your credit card company against him, he can't do business like this.
