Hi Jon,

I was able to resolve this issue with free help from Phil Jones (XcartMods).

Just in case you have a client who may need this in the future...
He set up a custom 404 handler PHP page, which returns the correct 404 header response. You do need to remove the CDSEO Url from the page (no need to delete the page itself - I just disabled it). Once you do, the header response shows as "404 Page Not Found".

As Mike said, I am wondering why you'd want to return a 404, ever?
If there is an outside page linking in, why not 301 to something relevant and potentially profitable.
Internal links are also easy to redirect to something that is useful to the visitor.

In my opinion, you never ever give up a link to a 404. My $0.02

We upgraded CDSEO Pro and xCMS. While Jon has added Goggle News Snippets to xCMS, I can't find how to create a Google News Site Map in CDSEO Pro.
Does anyone have a site map generator for Google News ?

The keyword meta tags are added to the pages. I'm currently working on updates to CDSEO and am looking at adding the news specific sitemap based on the xCMS news keyword field.

We are working on a solution on this for CDSEO v2.0 which is scheduled for release at the end of April.

I am working on a new site design and want to upgrade from 4.6.1 to 4.6.3.

1) Will CDSEO and xCMS support 4.6.3?
2) Is there a way I can backup my CDSEO and xCMS data? I saw there is an export function for CDSEO (though very manual - no option to export all), but could not find anything for xCMS.
