Re: Viable replacement for Altered Cart's On Sale Module?
hm. Ok. Well, still - with the full source, is there any reason that with a little work it couldn't be reworked to exclude that?
I have several ideas on it, and am thinking that it might make sense to try to purchase the unencrypted files simply to not have to reinvent the logic wheel and work for the various sales. i want to rework the admin interface as well, and custom add a couple of sales types (including a "daily deal" kind of sale that automatically by scheduler adds a specified product to a "daily deal" category, allows me to define the specifics of the sale for that item, and then at the end of the time period (for me one day) automagically removes that product from the given category and inserts the next scheduled product. Anyway, just seems like having access to all the logic might save some time in coding it all out. After all, MY business is currently the selling of product, and not the writing of code, so anywhere I can gain some time in that feels like it would be helpful... :) |

Altered Cart On Sale - logic modification...?
Has anybody run into this?
I have a sale running for free shipping on product X. Someone purchases Product X, but also a,b,c,d,e ... It is set up to only give free shipping on the specific item (narrowed by manufacturer and category together) When it calculates the shipping on the remaining items, it calculates it...wrong. Weirdly. For example, shipping might calculate out to be $10 if you remove the free shipping item from the calculation, but the software only charges $2. Is there an existing fix for this, before I go in and try to figure it all out myself? Thanks! :) |
Re: Altered Cart On Sale - logic modification...?
If you have the open source copy of it we could take a look at it. Otherwise we haven't heard of this issue yet.

Re: switched from altered cart checkout one back to x-cart opc
Anyone got AC's checkout one working on php7.x? I have everything on my site ready for it (4.78) but the logs show its crashing. Add to cart button shows error on php7.
