Am I missing something or is this product painfully slow? It seems to hang on every click of the mouse and a simple export of 10 products takes about 5 minutes.

Has the demo version got the hand brake left on?

I found exactly the same problem.

Money wasted for me, just too slow.

Something is wrong Paul

Most likely with database connection (happens on busy shared hosts)
I welcome you to contact our support at support@xcart-manager.com with your problem and connection details to have this resolved.

MrSoft

As I mentioned - please contact support.
As easy way to solve this yourself, for those who prefer to avoid support - configure Store Manager to work via PHP-MySQL Bridge, it will use local database and connection problem will not affect your work.

We look forward to your contact in any case.

Re: MagneticOne Store Manager -- anyone got it?

Just tries with the PhP bridge and performance is much better - GOOD!

I also have a preference for working on a copy of the data not live data in any case so this works well.

Unfortunately, when I export product data into a CSV file, now matter what I use as the delimiter, the data is "wrappring" in the excel file which is making the export file not usable (which doesnt happen in the normal x-cart x-port)

has anyone else had this problem and resolved it?

does anyone use this for quickbooks (australian version) integration for orders or products?

and finally is there a way to have say orders information using live data while haveing product information using the bridge?

You can also try to work via ssh tunnel to work with live data, can have problems with mysql server dropping connection all time, again depends on server configuration.

You can try troubleshooter to handle this yourself.
See "Quote string values with" option.

For detailed support questions you are welcome to contact support@xcart-manager.com

As to Australian QuickBooks support - please try to use it, we don't have australian versions to test with, but will make all the changes to make it working for you. The Beta status is made for exact cases.

Right now the single connection mode is possible - i.e. you connected one way or another. You can use shortcut to quickly change the connection mode manually when you need it - most likely you are not importing/managing products all time.

And again - complete solution will be to contact your hosting, asking them to reconfigure database server to prevent dropping connections all time.

Thanks for that. I must say using the bridge it works well and the advantage is that you are not working on live data.

I get the sense that it only updates the changes, rather than upload and download the entire database, is that correct.

So, so far we are looking good.

The thing that would make this fly for me to use it in my business is the integration with Quickbooks, Australian versions - even just for the pushing out of data from x-cart to quickbooks rather than both ways.

Who should I contact about this and how can we make this fly?

regards

Paul

Re: MagneticOne Store Manager -- anyone got it?

I just installed trial version and I have some questions:

1.How can I view the creidt card number of the order? I looked everywhere but I could not find the credit crad number.

2. How can I update status? For example I have an order and its status is "Failed" but I want to change it to "Queued". There is a button called "Update status" but it does not do anything.

I am using Windows XP by the way.
