Usually results are seen from 0-3 months depending on how highly they are currently regarded by search engines (higher page rank generally = quicker).

To upgrade cdseo pro to the latest version of cdseo pro, just upload the new files and access your CDSEO Pro admin index. No data will be lost.

I've added a manufacturer and then run auto-populate. CDSEO is not adding a url.

Edit: ignore this one. I had a category with the same name.

Thinking about buying this mod, the only issue/question I have is:

Are there free version upgrades? For example: right now I'm using v 4.1.9, eventually we're going to upgrade to v4.2, v5, etc... will CDSEO offer free upgrades?

Note you will not see new links generated in FTP. It's all transparent. If your links don't work then it's usually a problem with the .htaccess. Either that step not being done correctly or the server not supporting the function calls in it. It's best to drop a support ticket to the person you bought it from.

Thanks for your reply. I think you're right, the problem is with my .htaccess file. I've tried every permutation of enabling/disabling #s, but nothing seems to solve the problem.

The links are correct when I enable CDSEO, i.e., they're the ones I've specified -- they just aren't mapped to anything in my store, so they 404 out.

I've put two trouble tickets in with WebsiteCM Software -- the firm I bought it from, I sent Jon an email and I just left a voicemail for them. Any other way of getting support on CDSEO?

sitemap generator in CDSEO PRO I have a large store over 100,000 products. When the sitemap is generated and submitted to google, I get a sitemap is too large error. How can we fix this so it creates multiple sitemaps to lower the size of this large one? Google allows multiple sitemaps. Any ideas?

Same here - sudenly all my links when enabled don't work anymore and I've submitted a ticket to no avail about four days ago...anyone figure out this problem?

OK - CDSEO wasn't to blame - I got hacked! The file permissions got changed and it stoped working, so make sure your file permissions are set correctly!

i have cdseo pro v.1.3.6, but when i importing the new products, it did not auto populate, it used to auto population, now it go to blank page when i click product, it go blank page too when i click auto population in mod page, i have 8gb memory, it should not be the memory problem, but when i click categories, manufacturers and static pages, they can be view, please help, i already increased the php.ini to 96m, my server is dual processors and has 8gb memory, please help, thanks

I have this mod installed on my cart and I can vote that it is one of a kind! A great mod indeed! I just have one question that no one seem to be able to answer. I have placed the tread below in the forum before and had no reply to it and was hoping that you might have the answer.

I know they have been slow to respond to our tickets the past few weeks but greatly apologized just the other day. Apparently their office move is not going as expected at all. If I were you I'd try to help them prioritize the tickets you have with them and let them know if they are urgent or not.

I hope this helps. They are still around! Just going through a frustrating time since they aren't able to help out as fast as they'd like.

I raised a ticket with Jon on 6/19 and resent it 5 times up to 7/23

I PM'd Jon on 7/29 and he replied on 8/1 saying that there were no open tickets. I PM'd him on 8/1 and 8/15. I am still waiting for an answer. All this happened way before September.

CDSEO module is working great. I am wondering if you can help me with url rewrite for help pages which are not done automatically by CDSEO.
help.php?section=xxxxx (xxxx can be anything like faq, term and conditions, etc). I use smarty to take care of title and meta tags. If we can make the url keyword rich, it owuld be great.

Also just noticed that this script is killing my site. I even talked with hostgator on this and they have confirmed that this script is running too many processes. What can I do here a.s.a.p. Please anyone.

I went through about 10 providers before found a normal one. hostgator was one of them. Get yourself VPS or dedicated, with good ammount of memory and cpu. XC gets a lot of resources esp when mods like CDSEO are installed.

My issue has been going on from June this year. CDSEO Links, the version before Pro, breaks the customer reviews. Jon states that he has not received my 5 replies to the helpdesk since June. I gave up trying to get him to fix CDSEO Links, so I decided to avoid the hassle and make it easier for him by dumping the bugged CDSEO Links and upgrading instead to CDSEO Pro.

I have written to Jon saying that we will pay the $339 to upgrade each site to the Pro version, but no response at all. I guess he is just not interested or has extremely poor customer service.

I am seriously considering moving away from xcart to another cart where the add on suppliers are more reliable. This is a joke.

How many more chances am I supposed to give him? All I want is an SEO solution that doesn't break a function of xcart. Is it really that hard?

oh well, time to start looking for a replacement cart I guess.

Figure out where the problem is: Apache or DB, cpu or memory.

I am frequently disconnected from my site for periods of around 30 minutes.

My webhost tells me that I have too many connections, around 300. I only have two or three web sessions open as well as one ftp session.

Is it possible that CDSEO is contributing to this problem of too many connections?

To all of you that encounter performance problems and have sites with lots of categories and products.

Whenever I (rarely) send Jon a ticket, I always get a reasonably timely answer. But that's not the reason for my post though. The reason is the following - I also had an issue where a site of mine (with lots of categories) took lots and lots of CPU, and since the CPU report mentioned cdseo, I thought cdseopro was the culprit.

As it turned out, what Jon said is absolutely correct - cdseopro.php is showing as the URI component because it runs the majority of the x-cart pages , not necessarily because it is the culprit.

The guilty party in my case (and I believe in most of yours as well) is a section of code in the include/categories.php file. If you implement the code fix, I believe you will suddenly see a big difference. The code fix can be found in the first post of the thread http://forum.x-cart.com/showthread.php?t=40093 under "Tracking down the bottleneck".

Hi all, as Carrie said previously we were in the process of building a new office and the building did not go as scheduled causing us to have to move into a temporary space and then now move again to the office, with the process and dealing with the building and paper work etc. our ability to keep up our support standards has been far below the high bar that we typically set for ourselves. We did also realize after a few phone calls from clients that we were having email issues with some clients but the problem did not seem to be consistent. Our server company made some changes and we are hoping the issue has since been fixed and have not since had any more reports of issues.

Typically you want to list keywords comma separated: keyword 1, keyword 2, keyword 3 ... etc.

Keywords are far less needed than descriptions though so put your focus on page titles and meta descriptions first and foremost.
