Product Discussion - Seems good to get conversations going, I know you have your smart comments but it saves customers signing in or typing there email address etc etc as nearly everyone is automatically logged into facebook these days.

I just want to make sure everyone is on the same page. The socialize changes with 4.4 .4 do not include the facebook Connect plugin that Jack showed in his example. Look at the bottom of the page in the example, not the top. The facebook Connect plugin shows your facebook profile thumbnail pic and a comment box to type in. I also want this badly.

The Socialize module does include the Facebook commenting system, it replaces the standard reviews module. See in the module options...

Love this template, but just want to get a couple things looking perfect.

1) Unfortunately I am new to x-cart and don't have a clue on the correct code. To clarify, I want my sub category pages to work like your demo store. Is custom code needed to work like your demo?

To explain, on subcategory pages with no description - I don't want the empty border to show up. I also don't want the sub category icon to show up in the description area on this page (just on the category page), but I do want the border to show up when I have a sub category description - All of this is the same as your demo.

2) If anyone can help with the code to only have 2 or 3 columns of subcategories on a category page, it would be much appreciated. In X-cart you can select maximum rows of categories, but this doesn't change anything on my smart template.

- I actually formatted some pictures to an exact size and then could get 3 columns of subcategories. So, if there is an easy way to just space the rows out a bit, this would work fine.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

I have Xcart 4.4.2 and Smart Template.

Are there there any issues using the upgrade pack to get to 4.4.4 when Smart Template is installed?
Has anyone done it? Will it fail due to modified files?

Hi Phil,
On all the product listing pages, there's a gap (empty vertical space) below each of the products, and above each of the horizontal rules. Please see image attached. How do I remove the gaps?

I've had this issue for a long time. Just been delaying asking you for help. Thank you.

After a test upgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 it all went fine except my speedbar menu has now gone pearshaped as just displays text links.

Do we need a 4.4.4 version of Smart Template to fix this?
