RSS : Awesome!
Bravo, Fuzzy! ...This was seamless and perfect. As we are fairly new to the RSS Realm, we know it is definitely the way to go. This is much better than the freshcontent.net we've been using, which is reliant on JavaScript...I've always questioned whether SE's truly treated it as "fresh, new content" or not, and have always had doubts. This RSS piece definitely calms me :)
Now I just need a push in the direction of finding out
Nevertheless, great post and thank you again! |

 http://w.moreover.com/categories/category_list_rss.html Has some nice feeds, although the disclaimer on this page notes that its only for personal use and commercial companies may need to get in touch with them first BEFORE using any of their feeds. |
Fuzzy, thanks for the final touch.
My installation took 5 minutes :) I don't have much experience with xml and rss feeds. Some help needed if you will. Here is one site I linked to http://www.mobilegadgetnews.com/index.php?act=home When I try to display their feed it gets all out of my tables. Is it something I have to fix on my side or it's up to the publisher ? |

You need to be using an RSS XML feed like so: http://www.mobilegadgetnews.com/index.php?automodule=blog&req=syndicate As you can't just use any HTML based page, it must be XML formatted in order for the mod to work properly. Hope this helps. |
as a matter of fact it helped, thanks :)
Where can I find a good comprehensive help on rss and xml. |
