Release on Android is out today and still doesn't work on 7.1.1 -- now it just asks for API key, not website address. Clicking "Login" button, get spinning action and then back to login screen.

Hi,

My name is Alexander Muzyrya and I am head of Mobile Development Department here in X-Cart.

Today we have released a new version of our X-Cart Admin application. This is a complete rework of our previous app. I suppose it is quite clear that we had some problems with the previous application so now that we have started to provide application development as a service we also acquired the resources and capability to manage this project on our own.

This is completely new application on completely different platform (React Native for those of you who are interested) and unfortunately the old versions of connector module will not work with this current app.

The new versions of connector for the X-Cart 5.2.x and X-Cart 5.3.x.y are already available. The connectors for the X-Cart 4.6.x and 4.7.x should be ready within one business day. For earlier versions of X-Cart 4 they will be available on demand, just open a ticket and we should be able to adapt the module within a considerable time.

This can be considered some form of test release because on one hand we wanted to provide the usable application as fast as possible and on the other hand we have some additional features that we want to implement so there will be no official release announcement yet. We are still going for January 2017 as Max mentioned earlier in this thread.

As always we welcome your feedback and if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.

We have released both iOS and Android updates and from now on we will keep both versions updated consistently. So there will be no situation like in the past when Android version is not compatible with X-Cart 5 and iOS is.

Using XC 5.3.2.2 and iPhone 6s, when I try to generate API key in module, I get this:

ERROR: "0" (code N/A) Call to a member function setValue() on null

When I try to scan QR code with iPhone 6s, it captures QR code for about 1/2 second and app closes.

Thank you for brining our attention to this. I have investigated the issue and sound out that the update hooks for the module were not working, meaning that if you had module previously installed the upgrade process was not changing the database values correctly (for fresh installation everything would be OK).

I have already uploaded the new version of the connector module to our marketpalce that should fix the issue.

For all who is interested in the new module files for X-Cart 4 they are currently available in the file area in the "X-Cart 4 - Addons"->"Mobile Admin" directory. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions about the new module or if you need help with the installation.
