Does anyone know how to upgrade a heavily modified X-Cart Version 3.1.3 to the newest ?

1. With lots of coffee and a silly amount of time.

Or

2. Hire the x-cart team to do it!

Although to be honest I wouldn't do it to V 3.4.0 I'd wait a few more versions to a more stable branch

I'd set up a completely new site with 3.4.0 and use MySQL diff to estimate database changes, then go through, mod by mod, and port them to 3.4.0.

But, I'll stick with groovico on this and say wait until a more stable release. You'd have to go through almost the same process to upgrade to a version later than 3.4.0, so at least make it worth your while :-D

Good point, but I need a version that is more secure and that let's me have the register_globals set to OFF on my server.
It will be a nightmare to upgrade though since my site is so heavily modified. Maybe I need a custom fix from the x-cart team rather than a full upgrade
