I paid on Sept 12th and there was no email from telafirma on the 12th, 15th or any other period until just the other day after I sent you the PM. I double checked my gmail spam and it never arrived. So not sure how it just disappeared but I was waiting each day because I needed this mod bad.

I would also like to get this upgrade for my other store. I purchased the mod for 4.0 version of Xcart and then upgraded my store to 4.1 version, tried to contact telafirma for months with no reply so I was forced to pay $150 to have Qualiteam upgrade the mod for me. Now I would like to add the actual upgraded mod so that there wont be an issue when I update from 4.1.6 to 4.1.9 this week.

Paid for the mod and within 24 hours it was up and running with great cusomter support provided by Stephen.

TelaFirma I like what I am seeing with your image mod. It's specifically what I am looking for to correct slightly blurred/fuzzy thumbnail product images. I sell apparel and great photos make or break sales. The Xcart enlarged photo quality is better yet I also don't like the popup window layout. I also am now required to load three different sizes of the front view photo. So I definitely like the mod. My concern is
#1 the page load time
#2 the installation issues that keep being repeated here by posters. I am not a techie. I sell apparel and that's what I do best.
Can you address these issues for me please. Others anything new or different out there to compete with Telefirma's mod?

The first time that you load a page it will take a little longer because all the images have to be generated the first time. This is a "one time thing". When the images are generated, they are stored in the cache folder and will be drawn from there instead and the page load time will be back to normal. Actually in a lot of cases the page load will be shorter because you are not trying to display a 200px wide image in a 100px wide box on the product listing page. The only time that the images would be generated again is if you change one (any) of the parameters.

As for install issue - I am not quite sure what you are referring to. Most of this thread dates back to 2005. We have sold more copies of this mod through the years that I can count. The percentage of people that have had install issues are very very small - less than 1%. Most of these "issues" were just things that needed to be modified slightly in the templates because of how heavily modified their X-Cart install was. I have taken a look at your store an it is pretty standard so there should be no surprises. However, if you are uncomfortable making modifications to the templates, we do have installation that you can purchase at the same time that you purchase the mod.

Hello there!

We purchased this mod and would be very happy with it if not for one little attribute: the mod also resizes small images to fit the bigger scale, set in the mod configuration.

For example, you cannot get an image of a product that would be more than 180 px wide. The settings are: thumbnail 100 px, product image 200 px, detailed image 500 px. The mod stretches images to bigger sizes, resulting in image distortion.

I would have asked about this before purchasing the module, but was informed by a satisfied customer in this very thread that the module in fact does not resize smaller-than-set images.

I have posted a question about this directly to Tela Firma and am still waiting for a reply, but since I see more activity from Stephen on this forum, I decided I would try my luck here :)

So, my direct question is: can the "resize smaller images" feature be disabled, so the module does not resize images smaller then the sizes set in the mod configuration? Example: you have an image that is 400 px wide, the module resizes it to 100 and 200 px but does not stretch it to 500 px, which is the detailed images width setting. Or you have an image that is 85 px in width and the module doesn't resize it at all?
