I've installed the basic free version but would like to activate the 30 day trial. Can anyone tell me how I can do that please?

Sue,
I see lots of time passing with no answer to your question. I'm not sure how to activate the trial as I have no direct experience doing this, but I expect you merely need to purchase the product in your helpdesk at http://secure.x-cart.com

Just click on Buy Products/Services in the left-hand menu, then under X-cart 4 click on Add-ons. F-commerce go is one of the top ones.

thank you for taking the time to reply. Yes, in the end I came to the same conclusion, we weren't really inclined to do that so in the end we've actually completely removed the module as the in it's free, basic state it caused confusion to our visitors and customers and we weren't interested in spending that much for the subscription.

in order to enable the trial, login to the Facebook, do Like the http://facebook.com/xcart page, then proceed to the "connector" page https://apps.facebook.com/f-commerce-go/, connect your web-store to the FB-page and you will see the orange "Start trial" button (refer to the screenshot http://imgur.com/MNMngdP)

Shame you didn't tell me that 10 days ago when I first asked, if you had you may well have got a subscription next month.
It might be helpful if those instructions were clearly displayed on the module page. Also, I don't think it's possible to get back there if you later decide to use the free trial after activating the free/basic version?

I do apologize for the delay. However you are still able to try this service since the module installation process is smooth and easy.

As for the instructions place, thank you, we'll consider this in the further module versions.

I'm getting this error when trying to view the fCommerce-go page for a client: "connector.qtmsoft.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided."

Anyone else having this issue?

connector.qtmsoft.com is coming up as a 404.

Any idea when this might get resolved? Heading for 24hrs of downtime on the app now, doesn't bode well for the kind of support/update service you might expect if you pay a monthly subscription!

No, sorry I can't confirm that, I'm still seeing the untrusted connection warning. I've cleared my cache.

Yes, I managed to reproduce that. I checked your page in a several browsers and it seems there is something specific to the Firefox only, because all the others browsers are showing the page without any warnings.

I send this info to our hosting team, they will sort this out as soon as it possible.

I can confirm that I do not get the connection error notice in Chrome, but the apps.facebook.com/fcommerce-co page still does not allow me to connect to a page or connect to a store.

I have attached an image of what I see. I hope it helps figure out what is going on.

I had the same issue initially, sorry I don't actually know how I solved it beyond I think refresh pages and going back and forth between the page I wanted to connect to and the fb-commerce settings page.

Thanks for the suggestion suehamil, but I think I'll have to wait until the Firefox fix comes down the pipe.

It was initially reported to us that the connection issue was seen on Chrome, but it looks like since Tuesday it has been fixed!

Went to check my fb store today out of the blue this error shows up.

fCommerceGo has been worthless to us. Zero conversions, ever. I wasted many hours trying to make it work, then moved on and just let it sit there.

Analytics show a CTR of less than .01 % and a conversion rate of 0.
My 18k facebook likes will not use this tool shopping from facebook with this interface.
I turned the thing off -- should have done that a year ago.

I think fcommerce has been over dramatized in general. Lots of companies are pushing it right now, but it doesn't seem to get real results. Even the big players in ecommerce have dropped out of the fcommerce game. I'm glad XC has a solution for it though, one more checked box on the shopping cart comparison list.

Issues with buttons. Everything is working, but the add to cart buttons are messed up. the store is v4.6.1, with the reBoot v2 skin. If you look here: https://www.facebook.com/ElectricVehicleMall/app_165931960160897?ref=page_internal you can see that the button is incorrect.

Any ideas?

OK I figured out the problem. <i class="fa fa-shopping-cart"></i> was in the language label for the button, added by the reboot template. The button is calling the as part of the title="", but because of the quotation marks is mucking up the code. I removed it and all is well. I love finding the answer immediately after posting...

I added the module back to http://vsa-fitness.com/ but now I cannot add the app back to the facebook page, it doesnt show in my list of sites I manage, even though I removed the app from the page. It thinks its on it already.

I have investigated the issue and made some corrections of the facebook-connector side.

Please, open the https://apps.facebook.com/f-commerce-go/ application and re-add the site to any of your pages using instructions provided by this application. Be noticed, that it may take about two minutes sometimes after you entered your site URL and pushed "Apply" button there for adding the site to FB page.

As an example, I've added your site to the one of my test pages here https://www.facebook.com/pages/My-test-page/112485552153383?sk=app_165931960160897
