No, you just need to manually add a product via eBay first. The eBay system will then automatically create your default business policies. Now you will see the business policies listed in your account selling section (and X-Cart will also be able to see them for the module configuration).

I had the same problem yesterday until I manually added a listing in eBay. Then it all worked.

Thank you for your interest in the module and sharing your ideas on its improvement. The tax related feature you describe is planned to be added in one of future module releases (unfortunately I cannot provide you with timeframes).
As for the character count for the product title, we'll think what can be done, however at the moment there are no plans for adding this feature into the module.

Any idea why I am getting this error and how to fix it?

@2ndTracks: I've been told by the module developer that you can ignore this warning as it does not prevent items from being imported into eBay.
In future module versions the developer will add the ability to enter UPC for products and pass it to eBay along with other data.

INterestingly enough, it does prevent me from uploading my product to ebay. I get the error message and no ebay item ID is assigned.

I am just noticing that I actually have two errors, take a look -

Error:AddFixedPriceItem - UPC is missing a value. Enter a value and try again. (EBay error code: 21919301)
Error:The operation can not be performed

Not sure if it was two part of the same error, or two unique errors. Any ideas?
