Re: One Page Checkout, the original, from alteredCart is now 4.4 compatible
Hi Alex,
Actually, I was asking Bill Brewer about how his One-Page Checkout mod handled the X-Cart address book module. Thank you anyway (nice screenshots btw) ;) |
Does One Page Checkout work with 4.4.4 and Smart Template?
I'm using Smart Template now on 4.4.4 sites and now I want to add One Page Checkout. Is anyone using this combination successfully? I'm a bit nervous about combining add-ons. Thanks!

Re: One Page Checkout, the original, from alteredCart is now 4.4 compatible
Is version 1.5.3 compatible with 4.4.4 does anyone know?
Need to double check everything, but at the moment it is simply sitting on the checkout page after clicking complete order. X Cart OPC is working fine Thanks :-) |
Re: One Page Checkout, the original, from alteredCart is now 4.4 compatible
I've put it on three 4.4.4 sites so far, and only one site works. [ALL WORK NOW. IT WAS MY BAD EDITS]
The site that is working uses UPS only. The sites that don't work use 1) formula-based rates (no rate quotes needed) 2) formula-based plus FedEx Express I don't recall the error message (but can get again by reactivating OPC) but it is not able to get the shipping charge and the customer is stuck there. Which is odd, because when X-Cart checkout is enabled it finds the rates just fine. This sounds different from the problem you are having, but I'm not sure. I have not checked into this further, and have not contacted Altered Cart support yet because I am on a deadline to get more sites upgraded before the holiday season hits But when that's done I'll revisit the problem. If it is a bug, and not my file editing, I'm hoping it will be resolved by then. [SITES WITH OPC ARE ALL WORKING NOW. MY EDITING OF FILES HAD A PROBLEM.] |
Re: One Page Checkout, the original, from alteredCart is now 4.4 compatible
Thanks, seems we have a different problem.
Shipping rates are working fine, we don't use UPS. No error message, when submit order is clicked, just get the busy sign. Checked setup, seems ok, normal OPC is still working fine. |
Checkout One Payments - PCI compliance simplified - Authorize.net, Beanstream, + more
Checkout One Payments is an interface for Checkout One that supports modern methods to submit payments, namely Transparent Redirects (also called direct post) and inline iframes. These methods are completely transparent to the customer. Your checkout will work exactly as it always has. At the bottom of the page there will be a regular credit card entry section (all of the magic happens behind the scenes).
Currently supported methods: Authorize.net direct post Beanstream Stripe First Data PayPal Advanced transparent redirect (no popups!) SagePay inline iframe TrustCommerce |

Authorize.net CIM & PayPal Pro in Checkout One Payments
Big news. To very popular and much requested payment methods have been added to Checkout One Payments: Authorize.net CIM & PayPal Pro.
With Authorize.net you customers can store tokenized cards on your site to re-use in the future. PayPal pro is on of the most popular payment methods, but before now was only available through X-Payments in an iframe on the checkout. Checkout One payments lets you keep your cc fields directly on your checkout page. No iframes, no difficult integration. No monthly payments. This brings the total payment processors included to 10. - Authorize.net direct post DPM - Authorize.net CIM - PayPal PRO - Beanstream - eWay - Stripe - First Data - PayPal Advanced (no popups!) - TrustCommerce - USAePay |
