Well that certainly makes a difference! I've never considered it wise to promote release dates, unless the code is already developed and you are simply wanting to build anticipation.

It seems silly to suggest a date at all, if you aren't going to meet it. Under promise, over deliver. That will keep you sane.

Hi Everybody,

I am back here to give some detailed updates.

Well, the first mobi-cart x-cart integrator module (that's compatible for x-cart 4.3.x) will be released at 01/01/2012 (new year). The compatibility version of x-cart 4.4.x and 4.2.x will be released in 3 weeks time from the first release.

The release gets delayed for various reasons:

• The bugs exist in X-Cart. Nevertheless, it has to be dealt by us.
• The support from Mobi-Cart for removing some limitations (like support of variants, manufacturers/brands). This is dealt by Mobi-Cart team parallely
• Testing with different parameters for performance on data synchronization

We will update you here how to make the order, features list & price soon here prior to release.

Hi Everybody,

Here is the update.

Current features:

• Products export: You can setup the cron job, that will add the products into mobi-cart end if they are new. If the item already exists, it will be updated
• Stock update: Another cron job will be setup to run at certain interval to update the stock level in mobi-cart
• Orders import into x-cart: A cron job can be set to import orders from mobi-cart into x-cart store and the stock will be updated in x-cart stores

There are few restrictions we have at the moment due to mobi-cart limitations. They are...

• Product options/variants support: Mobi-Cart does support only 2 product options only. We will add this support when mobi-cart does support more than 2 product options
• Manufacturers: There is no brand/manufacturer support. It will also be added when it is done by mobi-cart at their end
• Membership level pricing not supported

Price: Well, the module is FREE for mobi-cart customers.


Release Date: Currently, we released beta version for x-cart 4.3.x. We are talking to Mobi-Cart team regarding the licensing module and How to allow the customers to order it. This will be sorted out either today/tomorrow. People can try that then.

We could see others customers placed it. Which browser it is? Try in another browser if possible.
