And this can be done through the website?

If you just uploaded the upgrade pack files but did not run the upgrade you can leave it as is otherwise you need to restore original files using FTP

So.... :(

I had a lot of upgrade issues with 4.5.1. I hope I'm not having you chase your tail since I have yet to test 4.5.4>4.5.5, but....double check to make sure all of the database upgrades were completed and match what should be in the clean install where at all possible. I've noticed that X-Cart upgrades some times mysteriously fail to add critical bits of SQL.

Lets hope that version 4.5.6 comes soon and that it includes a much revamped upgrade process.

Let's hope they PULL 4.5.5 and try again.

PS -- Altered Cart customers - you probably received an email with product announcements...
XCv4 is FAR from dead!

I tried running the upgrade once and everything failed as I didn't give the files the proper permissions.

4.5.4 with bug fixes is working. My ONLY justification for 4.5.5 is to play with a better iFrame for Xpayments -- and if I can't easily make it work, I can be stuck on 4.5.4 for a long long time. It's ok.

Looks like AlteredCart solved this for us...

X-Payments Connector For Checkout One

I don't need 4.5.5 now!

Still incredibly disappointed at the failure of QT to respond to the many non-ranting questions. We only rant when we are not heard.

Hey, I'm a married guy. I know why my wife yells at me. She still loves me, but she wants me to listen to her. It's really that simple (usually).

Orders are generated on completed payments only. No orders are placed in the background. The X-Cart "Lite" iframe system places an order before the customer presses submit. This is both confusing to the customer, and can create stock issues in your store with a lot of X-Payments "preorders." In the Checkout One version, each order is given a special reference number when it is linked to X-Payments, and an order is only generated in your X-Cart store when a payment is completed with X-Payments

Hold on you want to tell me that this is possible ;)
You think that true OPC with everything one page changed or updated with Ajax without any additional buttons is possible? And orders are saved only when successfully executed? No way.... oh man do you think we should tell QT about this?

You may have just gained a customer. I'm pretty impressed with the cart error and abandonment tools even more. :)

QT...any comment on possibility of a re-release or an earlier release on 4.5.6?

Anyone?
