Just don't start adding items to basket etc. as it's a live store and you will mess up my stats for the cart log mod (another one of garys excellent mods)

Also a good way of testing it if you are from the same country as the website is located is if you enter the site addres into good language tools or babelfish and run a translation . as it's showing the sites through a proxy it will show the alternative currency depending on where the proxy is.

IБ─≥m from Romania and I see prices in бё and in googleБ─≥s cache they are also in USD. Nice.

To improve the add-on, you can do a drop-down box to let the visitor choose the alternative currency? Because, maybe he want to compare prices with other website and this will help him. And it's easy to be done.

Marius go and have a look again and you should see the alt currency now in Romania New Lei , thats what i like about this mod its so easy to add in new currencies. You didn't see Romanian currency before as we don't ship to romania but i've just enabled it for demo purposes.

adding new currencies is as easy as just going to www.xe.com to get the exchange rate and then doing a conversion of бё1 > whatever currency you want to add in and then just goto countries in x-cart and fill in the exchange rate.

whats good about this mod is that it should be easy with a little extra coding to grab the daily exchange rate csv from xe.com and then update the table automatically so that you always have a accurate conversion rate - at the moment we do it manually once per week.

Heheee.. works perfect. I see RON (romanian new leu) prices. :D

I have not had a request for a drop down currency selection before, and this module has been very popular, so I will not be changing the curent setup.

If you require a drop down list, then we could do this as a custom modification for you, but we would need to know where you want the drop down list to appear, and would need to work out a price as a few modules would be affected.
