Tried to install it ... crashed half way through the installation (the data import)... It will probrably work ok if i was using my existing database.

Also unless there is a v3.5.9 - v4.0.0 upgrade kit I don't think I will upgrade, thou i really want to. But manually doing all the templates again will take me to long.

Is any chance at all of a upgrade kit being released ?

please bear in mind that we are on version 3.5.9 of the existing stable branch and there are still some bugs with that (albeit minor)

i would not recommend version 4 for a live store until at least 2 minor revisions. ie. 4.0.2 (and that will still have bugs in it)

on the basis that xcart seem to release these once a month you could safely assume that this version will be out on the 14th September 2004 or thereabouts :)

Ok the install went fine, just testing the overall package. One bug I see with the News Module.

When a customer is checking out "Checkout: Step 1 of 3" Filling out all the required info then pressing "Submit" An alert states 'The Required Field "Email" is empty' Then directs the user to the "News" email field.

It does not let the user pass.

Pay by check seems to be broken.

When I try to order something and pay by check. I get page cannot be found. It is looking for the file "payment/payment_chk.php" but I do not have that file in my payment directory.

Looks to be missing, maybe my installation didn't go so hot after all.

SQL errors if no products or categories are installed...

i had similar problems, not all the template folders wher copied from Skin1_orginal to Skin1. Just copy the folders that werent included in the installation and it fixed the problem for me.

It always said 'The requiered '' is missing when I try to register.

Any idea to fix it?
