Has anyone experienced any problems with this so far?

I know 4.0 has this by default.

I've installed x-cart in www root for a client with no problems so far. It's not live yet, but tests haven't had any problems.

Wouldn't it make more sense to change the HTML catalog to be generated in the web root? It seems a better strategy when you consider the search engines...

Has anyone tried this successfully?
