OK - with humble apologies to Phil, we have it functioning. I still am having a couple issues with images not uploading properly as well as the special effects not working in preview or on the front end, but I am confident that Phil and I will get it working.

I just recently purchased the mod and have the same problems, also on 4.5.5. Please let me know what happens.

Basically, you have to be VERY careful about paying attention to modifying the files that are for the EXACT template you are using. In my case, I am using Phil's reBOOT template.

I had to do some hunting and trial placements before I could get it to show.

The only issues I am still dealing with now are the ones I outlined in post #11.

Phill, when I do make the upgrade (I am going to wait at least a month for all the bugs to be discovered), I assume there is something we will need to d/l or patch?

For v4.6.0, it's just a case of changing one line in the patch...

Replace...

Code:

REPLACE INTO xcart_modules (module_name,module_descr,active) values ('USlider','Advanced, Layered, Responsive Image Slider','Y');

With...

Code:

REPLACE INTO xcart_modules SET module_name='USlider', module_descr='Advanced, Layered, Responsive Image Slider', active='Y', init_orderby=0, author='xcartmods.co.uk', module_url='', tags='userexp';

I can't quite get this to work either
The admin works -
and the CSS is showing the div for the slider ... but the images aren't being picked up

Can you post what you did ?

Donna, you had edited the wrong templates for install steps 7 and 8. Try now.
