You can add the scents to the "Search keywords" field in the admin for that product.

Some of our candle lines have 100+ fragrances...I believe there is a limit on how many words you can enter into that area. I tried back on version 4.1.8 and it wouldn't let me put them all in.

May need to adjust that field type in the database to allow more than a certain number of characters.

I guess I could do that. From your answer are you saying that it would be quite difficult to add "variants" to the search function? We have a lot of candle lines/styles that would take a ton of work to add to the search field. Has anyone tried this?

I've never tried it, but by default I don't believe the variant names are part of the search function.
