That is good to hear! I haven't heard any testimonials like that from a real merchant. Thanks Aaron.

I think it all depends on the market. I see a number of my clients doing very well through social media - not just traffic but actual sales. Pinterest is really kicking things up a notch now, and as that gets more and more popular I think you'll see a higher conversion rate than Facebook.

As I always tell my clients who hate Facebook/Social media - it costs them nothing to be active on Facebook. Even if the traffic doesn't immediately convert, it gets the company name in front of people, who may come back and buy later.

Absolutely, Pinterest has moved up to one of our Top 3 referral sites.

An article on social media and e-commerce stores, which some people might find interesting (personally I think social media can be useful, but which system and how it is implemented / used, depends on one's product focus and market... it is not just about adding a cart to ones social media pages) - see http://www.getelastic.com/is-f-commerce-fail-commerce/

I agree, QT should offer existing clients a better deal. OK FB have changed their tabs or whatever but that is part of system development and should be supported on our "lifetime Licence" I would scream kick and shout if my Mercedes dealer told me that my sat nav would no longer be available in Italy because the programmers have changed the way the system works

Changes from FBML to iFrame is fundamental. It is the engine of car, but not the navigation system. It like if petrol companies Hugo raise the prices for gasoline, but the prices for diesel stay the same. Do you think that Mercedes dealer will replace the gasoline engine with diesel engine for free?

Qualiteam has already provided with free 6-month subscription all the customers who purchased this module after 01 January 2012. And also for each customer who has the license for FacebookTab we are glad to offer one time 50% discount for any plan subscription

Navigation system, engine, gearbox just metaphors used to express a concern, but still boils down to the same thing.

I will keep an eye out for the FB module when it arrives
