This bug is fixed in v4.2.1. It means that the new v4.2.1 installations works correctly.

You have upgraded from v4.2.0 to v4.2.1 but your database still has the incorrect values. It is necessary to perform some additional steps to fix the database too. Please contact our Support Team, we will fix the issue.

Can I change the current x-cart skin? HI,
You can change the current skin to another default skin set: 1. Run the installation script, i.e. open http://[your_store]/[xcart_dir]/install.php in your browser;
2. enter the Auth code, you will find it in the include/install.php file and also in the X-Cart admin zone -> on the "Summary" page;
3. choose 're-install skin' and click 'next'.
You will be offered to select a desired color scheme, layout and dingbats set. Choose a skin you like.
4. Complete the re-installation and check how your store looks now.

In 4.2 branch there is only one default skin.

v4.2.1 already has all 15 free skins included, so it is possible to install them using the installation wizard.

If v4.2.0 is used, it is necessary to download the necessary skin from our HelpDesk, upload the skin files on your server and run the installation wizard.
