Ok here is how i have fixed the problem.

open webmaster, click on the toll free text while viewing your site in your browser.

A box opens, edit text and click save.

I have now chaged mine to say 'Email Us'

How comes no one knows how this works ?

Because this is not the way most of us edit language entries.

The better way is to use your admin. Search for the text in the language, then update.

Webmaster mode is THE BEST way to determine which template is involved with a page, but I wouldn't trust it for editing anything.

IN this case, we kept asking you to go to your languages, but it appears that you have not yet figured out how to do this. You can start here.

If you were able to edit the text using webmaster mode, you could have located the template that was involved in the code, then found the language or html involved...

This is one of the most basic tasks in xcart, and I URGE you to take the time to master this. Else, your xcart experience will basically, suck.

To repeat myself:

1. learn how to use webmaster mode to identify templates used by any given page.
2. learn how to edit language variables from within the admin by searching for text, or the name of the variable.

If you can do these 2 things, you are well on your way to easily managing your site.

There are many ways to make a change to a template or php file in x-cart. Sooner or later, someone would have suggested using the webmaster mode. :-) By the way, I hope you took note of the name of the "box that opened" in case you need to make a change to it again. And, not all editable elements of x-cart appear in the languages area. If you can not find something, send a quick note to the Qualiteam support staff. By using their support points for payment, you can find out where the problem is or let them fix the problem for you.
