Re: updating contact us page
You've got all sorts of html comments in there that are probably causing issues. Restore the default template and start over using {* *} comments. If you want to hide fields, just turn them off in General Settings/Contact Us Options, you really don't need to edit any code :) There is a default contact us header text variable...just add your text to that instead of hard-coding it into the template.

Re: updating contact us page
how do I reload the original contactus.tpl? i tried the restore option in the edit templates while viewing the contactus.tpl but nothing happened.

Re: updating contact us page
Look in your skin1_original folder, you'll find it there. You can either cut and paste into your current template (via the edit templates section) or you can ftp the old one up and overwrite the existing one.

Re: updating contact us page
i tried that but it seems the original is jacked up also can you attach a clean one here and i'll ftp it to my skin1 folder?

Re: updating contact us page
The original from your skin1_original folder should be the original that came with 4.1.9. I don't have a 'clean' copy as ours are highly customized, but you can grab it from your help desk area.

Re: updating contact us page
does anyone know what the .tpl file is for after a customer submits the contact us form, I want to put a lead conversion tracking code on it so I can count possible leads from customer inquiries.

Re: updating contact us page
Hi I am having a similar problem, I have tried everything so far here.
I have tried deleting the contactus.tpl from /skin1/ yet the contact page still loads correctly. Any ideas ? |
