The sales tax colum is not in this code.

I know but the tax info still shows on Checkout step 3. It removed it from 1 and 2, but left it for step 3. Is there a way to remove it too?

It's probably one of the /skin1/mail/html files...

yes and it shows me the same one as you mentioned above...customer/main/cart_details.tpl but it is already changed so guess it will have to stay like that.

I just went into webmaster mode -- looks like you want to edit:

customer/main/cart_contents.tpl

webmaster mode is the sh*t
