But is not looking good, unprofessional. Did you see empty spaces in other shopping carts? It is not only 1 - 3 lines, there are 75 lines.

Yes, actually I've seen empty lines in a lot of sites from different carts, even custom build cart. It is not something that your customers will see anyway, it's the source code and no one is looking at it. But yes of course if you are looking for perfection in any aspect this doesn't look good

I found following issue with 4.4.2 after going live. I reported the issue, and just curious if anybody saw this before and has a solution.

On one-page checkout, if I modify billing/shipping address by clicking on 'Change' button below the 'Name and address' pane, SUBMIT ORDER button gets disabled and cannot be clicked at all even after providing payment info and accepting terms and conditions.

In this situation, customer cannot click on 'submit order' button to place an order.

I tested with firefox and chrome.

I just tested this in Firefox and did not have a problem, Did you click the update button after making the changes.

I contacted the author of the skins and they had updated versions for 4.4.2! That was timely and fast. So issue resolved here. So now to try and get the other two (minor) issues fixed. :)

On my 4.4.2 upgrade, the checkout pages uses "altskin.css" at /skin/apple_look/css/altskin.css

On my 4.4.1 website (only a week old), the skin uses "main.css" at /skin/common_files/modules/Fast_Lane_Checkout/main.css

I've verified that the main.css *is* present on the 4.4.2 website. I just do not understand yet why it is calling altskin.css instead.

Hopefully someone can help me figure out where the .css gets called from to figure out root cause. Maybe it is 4.4.2, maybe not.

Just gone live on 4.4.2 with no issues so far. Customers can buy and pay for items and we can produce an invoice.

QT did a great job on syncing up the data from our 4.2 store after we did the redesign work.

Has anyone come across this one?

I'm using Fast Lane Checkout with 4.4.2 and have a couple of custom defined shipping methods (not using realtime calculation).

On the shopping basket page when a customer is not logged in, as default the shipping cost for the local destination is displayed.

But when I change the destination address and submit, the updated address & shipping costs are not displayed.

Any ideas?

I'm seeing an increase in sales since going from 4.1.9 to 4.4.2, but that might have happened due to all the other things. There are bugs, but nothing major I can see. Depends on what you're using (I don't use FastLane Checkout, so am not testing for errors there). I'm on a Mac and so had to set up my Windows partition to test IE.

You have to test your site in whatever your customers are using. My stats for this month say 40% are using IE8, 12% IE7, 24% on Firefox, 10% on Safari, 10% on Chrome, and the rest mostly mobile devices.

To test different IE versions you need to run a virtual machine on XP. (Hey, at least with my Mac I can run Windows native.) Google wants me to upgrade from OS Tiger to run Chrome. Lucky me I know how to go from 10.4 to 10.6 for $29. Right now I'm not seeing any issues on IE8; still have to install a virtual machine to run IE7 though, which is pretty bogus for Microsoft to do. Won't see Apple pulling that stuff. Come over to the dark side, boys, the water's fine.

The reason why I wouldn't find any upgrade pack was because My email address is associated with a "secondary" add on account for Xcart. I logged in with the secretaries email address and got a whole new view on downloads available.

A little offtopic: We use IE Collection within VirtualBox to test multiple IE versions at the same time without an extra partition or multiple virtual machines. :)
