I also have a couple emails into him. I got the upgrade to 4.5.2 and paid for WebsiteCM updates. I delayed the upgrade because of problems with xpayments and other bugs that got fixed. I upgraded the other day and realized that I didn't get all the upgraded modules (eg. CDSEO Pro), now I am kinda stuck and can do SEO until I get the files...

FYI, Canada celebrates Thanksgiving holiday on Monday Oct 8 -- most Canadian businesses are closed, and some take an extended holiday for an extra long weekend.

I have a ticket pending with WCM as well, but I don't expect to hear from Jon until after the holiday.

Sorry everyone, our recent upgrade was a load of work and the last leg proved more challenging than expected.

As part of the upgrade, I redid and retested all of our software on all x-cart versions 4.1 to 4.5 bringing everything into 4.5 compatibility, redid all of the installation instructions in an even more friendly format, repackaged all of our software to use ioncube, and created an automated download/license center. It has been a huge undertaking but will best serve all of our customers going forward.

I'll be sending some information in the coming weeks about all the improvements: how purchases are not available for automatic download, how you can request license changes, and so on.

I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while I completed this process.

I'm working diligently on all support requests and am just about up-to-date. If you are still having an issue, please send me a private message here on the forums with your ticket # as it seems a number of tickets were miss categorized in our database upgrade.

I've just purchased the x-cart module "Rich Google Search Results module" which seems good. I'm a bit worried though as it sends out standard x-cart urls not the CDSEO versions. Does anyone have a patch I can use to generate the CDSEO versions instead?

Love CDSEO by the way, it's a must buy mod!

I'd like to find out about this too as I have been looking at buying the rich snippets module also and was concerned about it working with my other 3rd party modules

I would like to know about this as well. We have just had the rich snippets mod installed, but Google hasn't updated so far, so I can't tell if it is going to work with CDSEO.

Does anyone know what could cause CDSEO to disable itself?

Every could of days it seems to turn it self off and we manually have to go in and enable it again.

Only started happening since we upgraded to the latest version.

I have the same issue since I have had the upgrade done for me too.

I thought I was imagining it at first but it does turn itself off every few days or so

Great news then, I thought I had messed it up.

Only noticed when I generated a new sitemap and Google webmaster tools told me I had 3000 URLS blocked by the robots file!!

CDSEO pro (latest version) deactivated itself on me once during my upgrade process...

I reset it, and did a full cache and template reset, and it's been solid ever since.
But I have been checking daily to be certain.

Hmm.. maybe related to sitemap?

I am simply keeping an eye open for this, just in case.

I thought that too, but ours turned itself off again this morning and we have not generated a sitemap for a couple of days now.

It's random, very random. I've had it happening for me for weeks. Probably when I had the google rich snippet tool.

We really need this looked at because it's effecting our SEO efforts, it's not good at all. :(

Lost a number of well ranked pages over the weekend. Is Jon still here as I opened a ticket a good few days ago and have heard nothing.

ok its happened again while I have been off work sick. Which means since last week my URLS have been wrong on the site. I'm guessing this is why I have came back to the office to find we have had very little sales only from direct hits to the site and a massive drop in traffic.

Has anyone had a reply from Jon yet with an open ticket on this or should I just open a ticket too?

I don't have this on 4.5.2. So it has to be XC 4.5.3 or 4.5.4 or 3rd party mod you guys have that has compatibility issues with cdseo.

I'm using 4.5.2 and this only started occurring after Jon upgraded my version of CDSEO to the latest version after I was getting MySQL errors on the old version.

I'm using 4.5.2 too, I had issues with CDSEO and got SQL errors aswell, I think he sorted that out when I submitted a ticket a while back but then I noticed CDSEO turning off randomly, very annoying and a serious issue when it comes to SEO.

I'm assuming everyone who has this issue has either installed the latest CDSEO version or installed google rich snippet tools :(

I am not having this issue in 4.5.4 gold plus (upgraded from 4.5.3 g+)
latest cdseo pro 1.8.6

cdseo pro has been enabled now for weeks and although I check daily just to be certain, this is not an issue for me.

The latest version of CDSEO isn't 1.8.6 it's 1.8.7. that's probably why your not having this issue.

Ours went last night but had been up for 5 days.

Why is Jon not picking this issue up? I think for us we will upgrade one last time and dump most of the mods we have and try and get back to a core system.

A lot of people are waiting for a response, I think my ticket is way over 2 weeks old now. Being in-active for a long period of time is strange when he does a lot of business with x-cart members, lets just hope he's okay. :D
