Does anyone have this mod working in 4.1.11 branch. If so, could you please post the changes, as the default instructions do not seem to be working.

Yes, I saw that thread previously and tried your changes but was unsuccessful. I wonder if its due to the fact that this cart is not an upgrade from a previous version of x-cart. I have a bunch of carts from as far back as 4.0, and have never upgraded any of them, so I am not familiar with the entire upgrade process and how the code is changed.

Same thing here.. and my emails to Stephen (which had been previously answered as recently as 3 weeks ago) are bouncing back as the mailbox is full :(

Hi,

Does anyone know why the Dynamic Image Creator images might break with a server moves where the paths are still the same?

We've had to upgrade server to one running PHP5/MySQL5. I'm getting no images showing through on the http site yet strangely showing on the https (secure site). The images on the http site are showing like:

http://www.mywebsite.com/absolute/server/path/to/site/cache/464356fc841b05a0ed616ebd71076060.jpg

with the server path embedded.

Qualiteam are patching my site but it's outside of Qualiteams's remit as it's not their script and Steven is hard to get hold of. I'm hoping it might be a server configuration issue rather than a change to the thumbnail script!

Some of our clients have had a requirement for this mod but have been unable to purchase it from Telafirma. Therefore we've rewritten the mod from scratch - and here it is: http://www.xcartmod.com/cart/product/dynamic-images.html

Our version also includes a .diff patch file to make install quicker - this may not work on heavily modified sites - so we've included pre-modified files for your reference.

This looks like a good offer. However, I'd like to ask if it is open source as I'm not sure Telafirma was breaking the open user license by encrypting Cerdmann's Thumb script?

Luckily I had Telafirma's mod and an open source X-Cart version utilising Cerdmann's thumb. When Telafirma's broke on my new server move I was able to replace his work with X-cart's interpretation.

Hi Dan,

A couple of answers here:

1. We don't make use of Cerdmanns Thumb script or any other parties code - it's all ours
2. There is a single file that's encrypted - it acts as a license key - the code within it would not normally need to be modified in anyway to customise the display of the mod.
