Thank you Jon,
Thqank you for pointing the missing labeles kind regards, Ricky |
I'm looking at buying this mod but have a couple of questions:
1. The only other site I have seen with this mod has a very similar visual. Is there quite a lot of flexibility in creating a custom visual for this? (I'm sure there is, but just want to check!) 2. How does this effect the shopping cart conversion funnel in the tracking statistics section? Will everything still feed through into these stats? Thanks Amy |
FUNCTIONALITY
There is no core code changes, so everything including stats will work the same. There are only minor php code changes, like changing the redirect url after login/registration for example. The changes, as I'm sure people who have installed would attest to, are very minimal for such a drastic change in functionality/ease of use. PAGE LOOK The layout of the checkout pages are provided in a template file called home_checkout.tpl You can edit this file to completely custom the look of it, or even use your default home.tpl if you want the checkout process to remain within your entire store layout (though you'll lose the tabs at the top). SKIN/CSS Colors, buttons, etc., are all pulled from your default skin, so it looks like your shopping cart. Let me know if you have any further questions. |
Jon,
Would you kindly point me in the rigth direction of the tpl file that display the order details I hate that font and I been trying to change for ever. Also I would like to add the logo so the customer can print that for their records. Kind regards, Ricky |
The page main template is:
/skin1/customer/main/order_message.tpl That template calls some others, namely: /skin1/mail/order_invoice.tpl |
If anybody has any more suggestions I would love to hear them. Or any questions I'll do my best to answer.
My hope is that this thread can be used for us all to improve our checkouts with or without this mod. |
Jon,
I try to move the gift certificate up following your directions and It did not move at all. I guess I did not place it in the correct location. any advise will be appriciated. Kind regards, Ricky |
For those of us that only use paypal how can me display the IP address of the customer during the checkout process like you have on your site.
Kind regards, Ricky |
Thanks for this, great mod, I think it makes the ckeckout process soooo much easier.
Thanks again Amy |
