Default Light Responsive template issue?

The following works great on a normal size monitor but gets strange on a wide screen.

Margin between the menu and content is perfect on a widescreen monitor but becomes an issue on a regular size monitor.

The image for the product becomes to large on a widescreen but perfect on a regular monitor.

The last issue I have found is in the product view the "add" button is above the content. I would like the the button to be below the content. Not sure if I modified the .tpl when I first built the site on 4.2 but it was at the bottom before.

Maybe their is a setting somewhere. Figured I should ask before changing a .tpl file.

Any help would be appreciated.

One more troublesome area.

In the Send to Friend Section I have a white stripe.

Firebug points to this code....

.ui-tabs .ui-tabs-panel {
background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) none repeat scroll 0 0;
border-width: 0;
display: block;
padding: 1em 1.4em;

}

But I have looked in the css files and don't see those lines...

It points to a cache file in the var folder but no luck find it anywhere else?

Help.

Could be a setting. Can you provide a link to this site so we can inspect the CSS?

Here is my light responsive 4.7.2 test site, I don't see the issues there: http://xcartnext.com/xcart/product.php?productid=17514

Firebug will replace #00000 (#000) with its rgba equivalent. So most likely the color in the css is either #000 or #000000. And by the way this is black not white so probably that' snot what you are seeing.

When you are developing a site, turn off the Speed up CSS tool in the Admin under General Settings. It will help you find the right CSS file. I usually don;t modify any core CSS, I add another one on top, and include it via customer/service_css.tpl

You are correct I tried your test site on both my monitors and it works fine there.

Thanks for the tip turning off the speed up css tool. Wow does that make things easier.

Still having trouble with the above issues.

Can't seem to get the issues resolved across all monitors.

I solved the white strip issue.

Turned out it was a .png file.

The images....

<div class="image-wrapper" style="height: 200px;line-height: 200px;">

I didn't think it was necessary but unless someone has an idea I will just adjust the images to fit.

Well I modified the images for 200px x 200px and still on a wide screen monitor the images overshoot.

Unless someone can point out the issue I guess I need to start the css from scratch.
