I am not sure what necessarily needs to be fixed without looking at the files in your directories. But, I would recommend checking to make sure you don't have any unintentional or unnecessary white-space, resulting from the process of copying and pasting. Also, be sure that "slidemenu.js" is placed in: xcart/skin1/ . Give it another shot and let me know how you make it. If needed I'll take alook at your set-up.
